WHAT ARE TAPE IN EXTENSIONS
Tape-In extensions are the newest hair extension trend on the market. “Tape-ins” are thin wefts that get applied in “sandwiches” between your own hair in rows. It is the most requested hair extension method.
This method is 100% natural, requires no tools or chemicals, and lasts up to three months. It takes less than an hour to apply.
WILL THE TAPE-INS METHOD DAMAGE MY OWN HAIR?
If properly installed and maintained, this method will not damage your hair. It is 100% natural and there are no chemicals used.
CAN I WASH MY HAIR EVERYDAY AND BLOW DRY IT? WHAT ABOUT SWIMMING?
Yes, you can wash your hair and get blowouts without ruining your tape extensions. Our strong tape is extremely durable and lasts, as long as the scalp does not become excessively oily the bonds will stay.
We have high quality tape that is strong. You can swim, workout, go on vacation, and not have to worry about your extensions coming out. Don’t foreget to apply our GK Leave-ins & Serums before getting into chlorinated water.
CAN I COLOR MY HAIR EXTENSIONS?
Yes you can.Just note that you should only use salon professional colors. You should never ever lift the color, only deposit upto 2 shades darker. You want to keep the hair healthy. Color darker, never lighter.
HOW LONG WILL THE HAIR LAST?
Each application can last up to 12 weeks with proper care. The hair extensions can be reused up to 3 times with proper care.
HOW MANY PACKS DO I NEED?
If you have thin to medium hair you will need 30pcs
If you have thick hair you will need 30-50pcs packs of hair
HOW DO YOU APPLY SEAMLESS EXTENSIONS? CAN I DO IT MYSELF?
You must have them professionally installed and removed.
WHAT IS REMY HAIR
Remy hair is the highest grade of human hair available and is a preferred choice for hair extensions because it achieves the most natural look.
Remy Hair is considered to be the finest quality of human hair because the cuticles are kept intact and the cuticles all run in the same direction.
When the hair is collected from the donor, the hair is tied and the direction of the hair is preserved. As the cuticle runs in one direction as on a natural head of hair, it is less likely to tangle.
Remy hair lasts longer, keeps vitality and shine, and is easier to maintain.
WHAT ARE CLIP IN EXTENSIONS
Clip in hair extensions are a quick solution used to provide immediate transformation and can be easily applied in minutes without the help of a hair stylist.
They require no long term bonding or glues.
Clip in extensions can be used to extend the length of your hair, provide more volume, or add highlights or lowlights to your natural hair. They are by far the quickest and most versatile way to enhance the look of your hair without damaging your natural hair.
HOW DO I WASH CLIP-IN EXTENSIONS
Over time, clip in extensions will accumulate residue just like your natural hair. This does not mean the extensions need to be washed after each wear. To keep the extensions in optimal condition, we recommend washing every 5th-10th wear.
The extensions should be washed in a tub or sink (they should not be washed while clipped in your natural hair in the shower!)
1) Before washing, thoroughly brush the extensions to ensure there are no tangles.
2) Carefully rinse each piece seperately with luke warm water.
3) Place a small amount of SULFATE FREE shampoo specifically formulated for treated hair in the palm of your hand.
4) Gently lather the shampoo into the hair ensuring you work with one piece at a time. Do not twist, rub or scrub the hair. Gentle is the word to keep in mind!
5) The shampoo should be applied the hair in a downwards motion from the top of the extensions, down to the ends.
6) After lathering, rinse the hair thoroughly under lukewarm water until all shampoo is completely removed.
7) Apply conditioner, leave for 5 minutes and rinse.
We also recommend the use of a OLAPLEX treatment every month or so. This will ensure your hair extensions remain in optimal condition.
HOW DO I PUT IN CLIP-IN EXTENSIONS
Clip in hair extensions attach quickly and easily to your own hair with small comb-like clips that are sewn directly onto the back of the wefts.
These clips are opened and then snapped shut onto your own hair.
Clip in hair extensions take less than 5 minutes to apply and only 60 seconds to take out. They are super easy to use and are the quickest and easiest way to transform your look in a matter of minutes.
WHY DID MY HAIR MATT?
Matting is where a combination of hair extension hair, and your own hair clusters around the scalp, causing the bonds to intertwine with each other.
Over time more and more hair will become tangled within the matted section, slowly growing larger and larger.
At the beginning of the matting processes the hair can very easily be untangled and corrected, however the longer the hair is left, the more matted the hair will become, and the more challenging it will be to correct the problem, or to remove at the end of their wear.
WHY DO HAIR EXTENSIONS GET MATTED AT THE ROOT
The most common cause of matting lies within the aftercare routine of the individual wearing the hair extensions.
Looking after hair extensions is not a difficult talk, however there are a few golden rules which must be followed, otherwise the result may be difficult to manage and tangled hair extensions.
WHAT IS THE CAUSE OF MATTED HAIR EXTENSION AT THE ROOT
There are 3 main causes for hair extensions matting at the roots, failure to separate the bonds at the root, sleeping with wet hair extensions.
HOW TO PREVENT HAIR EXTENSIONS FROM MATTING/TANGLING AT THE ROOT
To stop your hair extensions from tangling at the root you should follow the aftercare advice provided by your technician, and stick to the following rules:
Never sleep with the extensions wet or damp
Do not massage the scalp during washing, slowly stroke the shampoo into the hair
Wear hair in a braid when sleeping
Separate the bonds daily – try to get it into your morning routine so that you do not forget
Use the correct hair extension hair brush and after-care products
WHAT DO I DO IF I HAVE MATTING IN MY HAIR EXTENSIONS?
If your extensions have matted call us right away to book in for a maintenance appointment and discuss the problem.
We will remove and untangle the matted hair extensions.The most important thing to do is to act quickly, and not panic.
Matting can be corrected if dealt with early, do not leave the extensions hoping it will go away, as unfortunately it will not.

As a first time guest you will be given an informative tour of the facility in order to familiarize you with our service areas and overall space. We want you to be at home and comfortable while you visit us.
Upon meeting stylist or therapist you’ll be asked a number of questions during your consultation in order for us to better understand what you’d like to achieve from your visit and what your immediate and long term goals are for your hair & body.
You’ll then proceed to your service where you’ll experience our signature services with one of our talented stylist and or therapist. Your satisfaction is important to us… we will provide an amazing service but also recommend professional products for you to use at home to enhance your care.

We have street level parking located on the service lane of Sheikh Zayed Road (North). You may also call our front desk prior to your arrival as we have designated parking allocated for customers with in the salon premises as well near the financial metro station.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY SERVICES? (JEWELRY,CLEAN/DRY HAIR, ARRIVE EARLY)
1) Preparing – It’s always best to ask our team member at the time of booking what preparations you should plan on when arriving for an appointment.
2) Personal Items – We ask that you minimize the number of personal items that you bring along with you into the salon. We have a very busy, high energy environment and would not want to have you put any items at risk of being damaged or lost.
3) Appointment Arrival – All of our appointments are scheduled as efficiently as possible so please arrive 10 minutes early for your appointment in order to have the maximum amount of time with your stylist or therapist. Should you arrive late for your appointment we will perform the service to the best of our ability within the time you have scheduled.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I MISS AN APPOINTMENT?
If you inadvertently miss an appointment please call us right away so we can get you rescheduled. We work by appointment so it can take some planning to get you back on the schedule and keep you on track for your services…so the sooner the better. There may even be opportunities on the same day for us to accommodate you.

HOW DOES YOUR REFERRAL PROGRAM WORK?
We love our guests….and know that we’d love their friends and family as well. So we have a wonderful program to reward our existing guests for sending in their loved ones to us.
The referral program is simple. You refer a new client and when they come in they will receive 50 AED off as a new client promotion and if they spend over 500AED in one sitting you’ll receive 250 AED to use towards any of our services. The more you refer, the more you save!
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Often appointments can be held for a client for weeks, sometimes even months in advance and should someone not show up for one of these appointments it creates great cost to the business and to the therapist & Stylist. Therefore If you are unable to make your scheduled appointment we ask that you contact us by ‘closing’ of the day prior to your appointment to alert us that you will be unable to make the scheduled day and time.
Should you give us less notice than required or simply not show up for your appointment. Future appointments may only be booked on a waiting list basis and guaranteed appointments may not be available without prior deposit.
We understand that emergencies and scheduling conflicts happen so if you miss your appointment or simply no show over 3 times in a given month the above will be taken into action.
For any services where chemicals will be applied to your hair or scalp, we require a special consultation ahead of time specifically to discuss the desired outcome of this service.
This consultation is only required for new guests or guests new to this service.
This is a part of our customer care program. In order to ensure the services are safe for the guest, safe for the hair and safe for the skin we ensure the desired service can be performed within the range of normal risks. We will discuss service history, allergies, current side effects experienced from medications, etc…to make sure that there will be no surprises when the chemicals are applied to your hair and scalp.
Once this is determined and formulation worked through, we will then set up the specific service appointment for you. After which, you will not be required to have a separate visit for consultations from that point on.
WHY DO YOU ASK ME TO CHANGE INTO A ROBE FOR MY SERVICE?
Similar to our other guest care programs, we ask that during your service you change into a service robe in order to:
◦ Minimize hair from going down your shirt/blouse
◦ Keep hair color and products from staining or soiling your clothing
◦ Keep collars and high neck lines out of the way of scissors
If you choose to not change into a service robe we need to remind you that we cannot be responsible for any of the above should they occur.
